Location: Gateshead
Pay Rates: £14.25 per hour (paid weekly/PAYE only)
What We’re Looking For: Class 1 Drivers to work with waste. There is an element of manual handling involved, however you will have a driver’s mate to help you. This will involve the collection of products such as TVs, fridges etc. You will be required to help load and unload the vehicles
Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30am
Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Day Shift Driver:
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
What You Need as a Class 1 Day Shift Driver:
- Valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Class 1 vehicles
- Valid CPC & Digi cards
- No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
